Do you have a few free days, weeks, or months and have interest in working hands-on with NDE in Las Vegas? Then contact us and let us know your interest. Arrangements may be available to live in the St. Francis & Clare House community in Las Vegas, part of the Las Vegas Catholic Worker community.

Albuquerque Internships

We have three opportunities available:

1. Immersion intern: the immersion intern will work closely with NDE employees, particularly Sarah Harling, NDE’s director of immersions, to plan and organize spring and summer immersion trips for college students and young people. The intern will be an integral part of the immersion at every step, and will participate in the trip at no cost.

2. Outreach intern: the outreach intern will work closely with NDE employees and community allies to identify and build relationships with groups and individuals in the Bay Area in order to increase awareness of issues related to the Nevada Test Site, and to build NDE’s membership base.

3. Research intern: the research intern will work in collaboration with NDE employees and ally organizations stay abreast of current developments both at the Nevada Test Site and with the United States’ nuclear program in general.

We also accept proposals for alternate internship projects.
