Las Vegas to the Nevada Test Site
A Communal Pilgrimage to America's Nuclear Sacrifice Zone
April 18-25
The 62-mile journey is a walking meditation. Most nights are spent camping with help from a Las Vegas support team. Non-camping sleeping arrangements are also possible. Part-time pilgrims welcome.
Organized by Nevada Desert Experience Interfaith Resistance to Nuclear Weapons
We walk in the footsteps of a long legacy of peace walkers and spiritual leaders to draw attention to the nuclear dangers that continue to threaten our sacred planet and the community of life. We come to heal this, the most bombed place on Earth.

• Western Shoshone sunrise ceremony
• Full Moon ritual at the Temple to Goddess Spirituality in Cactus Springs
• Kirtan Prayer Chanting
• Civil Resistance at Creech Air Force Base – includes Good Friday “No More Victims” Stations of the Cross re-enactment
• Passover Seder (Revolutionary Third Night)
• Metta Sutra Meditation
• Vigil and Easter Mass at the gate to the Nevada Test Site
Some walkers may risk arrest at either Creech AFB (Friday or Monday) or at the Nevada Test Site (Sunday or Monday). Considering arrest actions are in no way a requirement for walking with us.
Several radical pacifists are planning on vigiling at Creech for a week, starting April 1, leading up to the walkers joining them in Indian Springs on Holy Thursday, in time for the Full Moon celebration in the evening. Contact NDE to inquire about this pre-walk vigil.
