Julia Occhiogrosso In 1984 Julia Occhiogrosso traveled from her home with the Los Angeles Catholic Worker to Las Vegas to participate in the NDE s Lenten Desert Experience vigils at the Nevada Nuclear Security Site. She was inspired by her experience to return in 1986 to Las Vegas to commence a Catholic Worker presence. Today Julia continues as a member of the LVCW to prepare soup for street people, cultivate vegetables, and support NDE's work for nuclear disarmament. |
